Special straps to alleviate suspension trauma
The ELLERsafe HX205 anti-trauma straps are specifically designed to help alleviate the negative effects of suspension trauma in situations where a person is suspended. These straps are easily attached to the harness with an anchor stitch. They are stored in a zipped pouch, making them well protected and easily accessible.
These straps enable the user to stand up in their harness, reducing pressure on the legs and promoting blood circulation. The set includes two straps, one for each side of the harness, and provides an important safety element for situations with potential suspension trauma risks.
We recommend an anti-trauma strap in situations where the user may take a fall. This usually goes together with a fall arrest lanyard. Having anti-trauma straps does not remove the need to prepare a rescue plan and risk inventory.
