Extension strap to extend back point of a harness relative to the connection

The ELLERsafe extension strap extends the ‘A’ dorsal point of the harness by about 40cm. This gives the user more convenience with connecting, for example, a fall arrest block or lanyard.

The strap has a large loop that can be connected to the D-ring with an anchor stitch. The small loop on the other side is reinforced for longer life and easy connecting. With the 2 Velcro loops, the extension strap can be attached to the shoulder strap of the harness so that it is always within reach.

It is not recommended to connect a fall arrest lanyard to the extension strap as this increases the total fall distance and can lead to increased risk.

The extension strap complies with standard EN354 and can also be used as a short lanyard.
