ELLERsafe XD200 Compact Descender

The ELLERsafe XD200 is a very compact descender for ropes 9-13mm.
Not meant for extended drops but as a device that is easy to have around for rope transfers, hauling, rescues and working with technical lines.
The combination of aluminum and stainless steel provides excellent strength with a low weight.
Leaving out the larger cam and handle saves on weight and size. This descender is smaller than a standard oval carabiner.
Loading the rope is easy with a sliding sideplate that opens with the press of a button, not ever leaving the connector preventing loss.
The handle has an anti-panic funtion, that can be overruled by forcing the handle all the way through. The handles also has an option for a 4mm pull cord.
Stainless steel reinforced sideplate to prevent wear when running the rope over the side when lowering.
The open lower side prevents build up of dust, ice and debris.
Coming in at only about 220 grams, about the same weight as a sturdy steel carabiner, there is no excuse leaving the XD200 behind.
