Extension strap for dorsal harness connection point

The ELLERsafe HX401 extension strap extends the dorsal ‘A’ attachment point of a harness by approximately 40 cm. This allows easier connection of, for example, a fall arrest block or lanyard. The strap features a large loop with anchor stitching for connection to the D-ring, and a smaller, reinforced loop on the other end for durability and ease of use. Two Velcro loops allow the strap to be fixed to the shoulder strap of the harness, keeping it within reach. The extension strap complies with EN354 and can also be used as a short lanyard.

Note: It is not recommended to connect a fall arrest lanyard directly to the extension strap, as this increases the fall distance and the associated risk.
